Who We Are
The Gospel Pony Project is an equine-assisted outreach ministry located in the Triangle region of North Carolina. Our mission is to share God's message of love and hope, while promoting compassionate stewardship for all creation.
What We Believe
- We believe that God has called us to share His life-changing message of love and hope with the world. Mark 16:15
- We believe that our response to God's love should be to love others (1 John 4:11) and that there is no greater act of love than to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- We believe that we live in a broken world, filled with pain, violence and suffering, however, this was not God's original design. God created us to be in relationship with Him, and to live in peaceful harmony with animals, the earth and one another. Genesis 1:31
- We believe that having "dominion" over creation means responsible and compassionate stewardship; not domination and destruction. Genesis 1:28
What We Do
- In response to Jesus' instruction to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19), we go on mission. We partner with our ponies, as they suffer alongside us in this broken world, and they share in the hope of the gospel (Romans 8:20-21).
- We depend on the power of God to work through us and our ponies as we connect with, pray with and share the gospel with our community. Our hope is that Christ's love will shine through us so that we might reach people who want to experience the peace, hope and joy that can only be found through a reconciled relationship with God.
- We promote compassionate stewardship for all creation, including pets, livestock, wildlife and the earth itself.
